Collecting data about files on your personal computer is
one of the critical to proactive system management. FileWizard Desktop provides
local storage management capabilities for all versions of Windows workstations
Users can view and report to determine what kind of
files are on their computer, when they were last used, how big they are, and
when their computer would run out of space.
FileWizard allows administrators to look at network storage usage to determine past growth rates and current available storage capacities
Chart the historical growth pattern allowing administrators to then calculate future growth rate and capacity requirements
The report projects when storage capacities will be full if no action is taken.
Plan ahead for capital spending on the acquisition of new storage space rather than wait until it is an emergency
FileWizard will manage any volume that you have mapped to your work station.
From the query window, when you select the directory tree icon all available volumes are displayed
This includes all drives you have mapped, and volumes that you have defined
(User defined volumes)
All of these can be scanned and queried from your workstation
They can be done singly or in groups, depending on how you wish to manage them
