FileWizard Scheduling FileWizard can be scheduled to run a scan, execute a query, and take actions on a timetable that you set. Open the schedule screen in FileWizard. If a schedule window is not open, go to File|Open and open file type .sch. The events you wish to schedule are defined by dragging and dropping from the left pane into the right pane. In this example, the actions to be performed are:
After the schedule script is created, click on
the Start Event icon
From this window you can use the calendar section to choose the start date. Then set the start time, and finally the Interval. Interval choices are Monthly, Weekly, Daily, Hourly, or User Defined. Then use the Set Active Icon
You can click on the Run Status icon
The Event Viewer icon
The schedule can be as simple or as complicated as you choose to make it. You can scan a volume, take action on the results, scan a second volume, run a different query on it, and take action on those results.
